Quest Board Voyages are made by fellow players who buried treasure for other pirates to take.Ĭoral Messages in a Bottles can be found all over The Sea of Thieves, either floating among Barrels of Plenty, sunken Shipwrecks or beached on the shorelines of Islands or Forts. Quest Board Voyages can be chosen on the quest board on every outpost and seapost. The final chapter will give players a single X Marks the Spot Map that leads them to the location of a Chest of Legends. These Voyages consist of two chapters, with the first chapter offering Players 2 X Marks the Spot Maps, 2 Riddle Maps, 2 Bounty Maps and 2 Cargo Maps. The Cargo Commissions require Crews to pick up and deliver up to 8 Cargo Crates.Īthena's Fortune Voyages can only be purchased by Pirate Legends who have access to the Athena's Fortune Hideout. The Trade Good Ledgers can require numerous Animals and Gunpowder Barrels to be delivered to a certain Outpost. Order of Souls Voyages are sold by Order of Souls Representatives on any Outpost, which provide crews with either one or multiple Bounty Maps or a single Ghost Ship Map that reward players with Bounty Skulls, which in turn can be sold back to the Representatives for Gold and Reputation. Either of these Treasures can be sold to the Gold Hoarders for Gold and Reputation with the Company. Gold Hoarder Voyages are sold by Gold Hoarders on any Outpost and provide players with a collection of X Marks the Spot Maps and Riddle Maps, which reward players with Treasure Chests and Collector's Chests filled with Trinkets. The Gold Hoarders, Merchant Alliance, Order of Souls, Athena's Fortune and Bilge Rats Trading Companies all provide players with Voyages, which are either singular or a collection of Quests thematic to these companies. Quests can be acquired from various sources, either alone or in groups: Cargo Crates cannot be sold after the Contract delivery time has expired. The reward of these Crates depends on their condition at turn-in. For example, Plants need water to be healthy, Rum needs to be handled carefully and away from any damage sources and Cloth needs to be kept away from water. Cargo Crates come in three types - Plants, Rum and Cloth - and have to be handled carefully, since the condition of these Crates can get worse in unfavourable environments.
